Introduction.

The Swiss Ball Crunch is a core exercise that primarily targets the abdominals but also works the obliques. This is an isolation exercise which is well suited to beginner lifters.

Alternatives.

Technique.

  • Lie on a swiss ball with your feet planted firmly on the floor.
  • Contract your abs to lift your torso up until your abs are fully contracted.
  • Slowly lower your torso back down and repeat.
