WEEK 11 Eat – Long term dieting
Key points:
- Overall goal is to lose body fat and boost metabolism
- You cannot diet forever or your metabolism will slow to a crawl and you will be unable to lose more body fat
- At this point we have to switch approach:
- Increase calories and go back towards maintenance
- Continue with weight training 3-4 times per week
- By doing this we aim to lose more fat or maintain current body fat percentage
- This approach will boost metabolism for another fat loss phase
- It’s important to stay in a metabolism boosting phase long enough for your metabolism to increase
- The longer you stay in this phase, the better the next fat loss phase will be
