  • Increase portions of colourful vegetables
    • They’re low calories but a large volume of food
    • Aim for two fist-sized portions of veg with every meal
  • Drink plenty of water

  • Choose lower calorie carb sources
    • Avoid sugar and bread as they are very high in calories
    • Switch potatoes for butternut squash
    • Switch pasta/noodles for courgetti/zoodles (courgette noodles made using a spiralizer)
    • Change fruit choices from sugary fruits like bananas or pineapple for berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries etc…)
  • Stay busy
    • Boredom can lead to emotional eating
