Autumn Harvest Overnight Proats Macros
  • 150ml Unsweetened almond milk
  • 100g Low fat natural yoghurt
  • 100g Fresh blackberries/raspberries
  • 100g Fresh plums
  • 60g Oats
  • 30g Whey protein powder (low carb, vanilla flav.)
  • 15g Dark Chocolate (85% cocoa, chips/chopped)
  • 15g Flaked almonds
  • 1 Apple (medium size, peeled, cored & diced)
  • Pinch of salt, sweetener and cinnamon

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, blend together the almond milk, yoghurt, protein powder and seasoning.
  2. Now for the really hard bit. Take the remaining ingredients, minus the berries, and churn them in to the wet mix.
  3. Finally, carefully fold the berries into the mix. Depending on how much colour-bleed from the berries you want, this bit can require a reasonably delicate touch.
  4. Transfer the whole lot into a chunky breakfast bowl, cover with some Clingfilm, and leave it to sit in the fridge overnight.
  5. Come breakfast time the next morning, simply get your proats out of the fridge, unwrap, and consume!
