This is also a fantastic solution for those of you who just can’t tolerate eating greens. Rather than struggling through them you can neck them in 30 seconds and it has the added bonus of tasting really good!

Spinach is responsible for this smoothie’s green colour and it’s a superfood in it’s own right.

Spinach has the ability to improve vitality, restore energy and improve the quality of your blood thanks to it’s high vitamin and iron content.

Iron is particularly important for your red blood cells to function properly — they help transport oxygen around your body so it’s extremely important you keep them happy!

Spinach is also particularly rich in Vitamin K, which is essential for bone health.

And before you say ‘Bleugh, I hate spinach,’ you ought to know that it is almost tasteless in smoothies. This one tastes just like vanilla!

Serves: 1
Macros: Calories 242, Protein 27g, Carbs 17g, Fat 7g

  • 1 Large Handful of Spinach
  • 35g Vanilla Whey Protein
  • 400ml Coconut Milk (we used Alpro)

  1. Chuck all the ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth.
  2. Pour out into a large glass or protein shaker and enjoy!
