Drastic low calorie diets and quick fixes can result in quick weight loss for a couple of weeks, but will quickly cause your body to stop losing fat when it starts to think you are starving… then prevents you losing any more fat as a result.

A good rule of thumb for weight loss is you can only lose 0.5-1% of your body weight per week if you want to lose fat and keep it off.
